The Borad is the evil dictator of the planet Karfel in the Doctor Who universe. Originally human, he has converted himself to a half-Morlox, a reptillian species native to Karfel. He was eventually defeated by The Doctor. ("Doctor Who")
- The Morlox are clearly based on the Morlocks of The Time Machine. In the story of Doctor Who, the real-life H.G. Wells encounters these creatures and is inspired to write his story.
