Goff was an Eloi man, and part of Weena's resistance force, the Eloi Liberation Front. He forcibly brought a kicking and screaming Lara Myers back into The Mound, who had been trying to rescue her younger self who had been trapped inside the Temple of Fun. ("The Wee Time Traveler")
