Dr. Moses Nebogipfel was an early inventor, who created the Chronic Argo, an early Time Machine, similar in principle to The Time Traveler's Time Machine model. He was a reclusive man, enough so that he earned the fear and ire of his fellow townsfolk. ("The Chronic Argonauts")
- Nebogipfel has a similar name, and may be named for him, although how this is possible is unknown, as Nebogipfel is a Morlock from the far future.
